Napa city recreation programs provide many opportunities for youth.

Community Workshops

The City of Napa hosted three community workshops in January 2009. Approximately 220 Napa residents took part in these successful community discussions. These sessions provided an opportunity for Napans to discuss their ideas about the future of parks and recreation.

Napa Parks and Recreation Questionnaire

The City designed two online questionaires to collect information about how people use Napa's parks and open spaces, and ways we can improve City parks and recreation for the future.The surveys were available in both English and Spanish over the course of January and February 2009.

Adult and youth questionnaire results are now available.

Other Opportunities

Additional opportunities to become engaged in the parks and recreation planning process will include:

  • Telephone Survey
  • Focus groups and stakeholder interviews
  • City Council meetings
  • Web-based commentary
